Genelia gets nervous as she walked the ramp for the first time for designer Manish Malhotra. Though nervous Genelia looked stunning in the gorgeous gown and shared the platform with Tusshar Kapoor. The Lakme Fashion week has seen many well known faces of Bollywood who has set the stage on fire and Genelia was one among them.
Speaking about her first experience, Genelia quips,“It was Manish’s idea. I just couldn’t say no to him. When I was about to walk the ramp, I had butterflies in my stomach and was very nervous. Manish walked up to me and said that be yourself and don’t get nervous. Now considering I don’t walk the ramp everyday, I walked the ramp the way I generally walk – like an actress!”
Meanwhile Genelia has has agreed to be part of Gunnam Gangarju’s next production. She has signed on the dotted line for this film after she read the script. Debutant Srinivas is directing this movie while Gunnam produces it on his banner - Just Yellow. The movie will commence its shooting shortly. After Sasirekha Parinayam's release, Genelia has not signed any Telugu film even though offers flooded her. She is very selective about her roles and is reportedly very impressed with this project
