Ram Charan + Allu Arjun = "Charan Arjun" New Movie

You read that right! A big multi-starrer with Ram Charan Tej and Allu Arjun will happen if all things go right for producer Allu Aravind.

Sources claim that Allu Aravind had thought of a movie starring Ram Charan and Allu Arjun, a year back! Apparently he registered a title, ‘Charan Arjun’ at the film chamber for his Geetha Arts production company.

Unconfirmed reports suggest that the production house has definitely thought of a multi-starrer and the title has also been registered. The project could take a long time to take shape.

Beyond all that, ‘Vedham’, the multi-starrer with Allu Arjun and Manch Manoj is releasing this summer. Looks like the golden era of multi-starrers will emerge in Telugu cinema. Multi-starrers are not new to Telugu cinema anyway, right from the time of NTR-ANR, Krishna- Shobhan Babu, Murali Mohan – Chandra Mohan, et al till the recent combination of Jagapathi Babu with other heroes like Rajendra Prasad, JD Chakravarthy, etc. Audience would love to see multi-starrers, with many stars in one movie!

Mahesh Babu in Twitter

We know that Tollywood heart throb Mahesh Babu joined micro-blogging site Twitter recently under the profile name 'urstrulyMahesh'. Surprisingly, his fans who follow him on Twitter got to see a totally different side of Mahesh Babu, when he began posting pictures of himself and his family and even started disclosing a lot of personal information!

He is now informing everyone that his sister Priya gave birth to a baby boy; now his fans know that his son Gautam speaks four languages and loves getting wet in the rain. Mahesh is displaying a hitherto unknown and totally different side of him like never before.

Mahesh Babu has even gone the Shahrukh Khan way and answers question posted by fans. "ok lets have sumfun. how bout a Qn A? RIGHT NOW... il try to answer as many questions as i can... got about half an hour... LETS GO!!" reads one of his posts.

Golimar music launch

Music of Gopichand’s Golimar in the direction of Puri Jagan was launched at a function organized in Club Jayabheri on the night of 5 May. This function is attended by Bellamkonda Suresh, VV Vinayak, Seenu Vytla, Boyapati Seenu, Puri Jagan, Dil Raju, Bhogavally Prasad, ML Kumar Chowdary, DVV Danayya, Pokuri Babu Rao, Paruchuri Prasad, Kiriti, Dayanand, Chakri, Bhaskarabhatla Ravi Kumar, Vijay, Shyam K Naidu, Chakri, Chinna, Vasu, Simha, Kousalya, Priyamani, Prabhas, Gopichand, Raju and Sai Reddy attended it.

VV Vinayak launched audio CD and gave the first unit to Prabhas. Seenu Vytla launched audio cassette and gave the first unit to Boypati Seenu.

Puri Jagan said, “The story of this movie is inspired by the Bombay encounter specialist Daya Nayak’s life. I narrated the story to Vinayak and he loved the movie. I love and respect the profession of cops. A sub-inspector called Vali slapped me when I was a student because I was involved in a dispute. The same Vali attended the 200 days function of Pokiri as chief guest. I couldn’t go to that function and I saw him in TV and felt happy that he slapped me. His slap made me stay away from getting attracted to bad elements. Gopichand gave terrific performance as cop in this movie. Bellamkonda Suresh committed another project with me without looking at the final copy of this movie.”

Gopichand said, “I felt very happy when I got the opportunity to work in Puri Jagan direction. I had been waiting for this opportunity for a long time. He has shown me Daya Nayak. Bellamkonda Suresh trusted the story and the director Puri Jagan. This movie has come out comfortably well. I wish that this movie will become a success.”

Bellamkonda Suresh said, “I introduced VV Vinayak as director. He announced a movie with my son as hero when I was down. VV Vinayak is the sole reason for me being in strong position now.”

Siddharth’s New Movie ‘Oye’

Siddharth’s new film ‘Oye’ starring opposite Shamili, the baby girl in Maniratnam’s ‘Anjali’ debuting as heroine. Marking the directorial debut of Anand Ranga, an erstwhile associate of ‘Bommarillu’ Bhaskar, it is a produce of DVV Danayya on Universal Media banner. Siddharth is on a high with the success of his latest release ‘Kochem Ishtam Konchem Kashtam’ heading towards a 100 day mark. ‘Oye’ is touted as a classic love story, and is said to get a little makeover in the title before the release. The shooting is completed saving 3 songs and the makers salted for June release. The music composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja will probably be released in early May.

Rajamouli’s next project with Sunil as hero was launched at a function organized in Rama Naidu studios on the morning of 5 June. Shobu Yarlagadda and Prasad Devineni are jointly producing this movie in Arka Media Works banner.

Tammareddy Bharadwaja sounded the clapboard, Suresh Babu switched on the camera and K Raghavendra Rao directed the first shot. NTR, Charan, Prabhas and Ravi Teja oversaw the first shot direction.

Maryada Ramanna - a comedy thriller on Rayalaseema hospitality: SS Rajamouli
SS Rajamouli said, “I was supposed to direct a film for this banner long time back. I took an advance of 2 lacs and 116 rupees. I directed many films later and now I got an opportunity to work for this banner. I am changing my route and directing this movie. It doesn’t mean that it’s an art movie. I am also incapable of doing love stories. This movie is going to be a comedy thriller. My friend Vara Mullapudi narrated me this story line and I liked it. I felt that Sunil would be an apt choice. This film has the backdrop of Rayalaseema. It has nothing to do with factionism. Rayalaseema is known for it’s hospitality. The hospitality of Rayalaseema is the main theme of this movie. We are contemplating on titling this movie as Maryada Ramanna. Though Sunil’s role in this movie is serious, there will be generation of ample comedy from his seriousness.”

Sunil said, “Nobody narrated me an exciting story for me after Andala Ramudu film. That is why I stayed away from doing hero roles. I am doing a serious role in this movie which provides lots of humor. I feel happy to work in Rajamouli’s direction.”

Shobu Yarlagadda said, “We produced many TV serials in the past. This is our first film production venture. We shoot for a few days in this month. We will have extensive shoot in July and August. There will be five songs scored by MM Keeravani in this movie. Nagineedu (Prasad Labs) is doing a vital role in this movie. Saloni is doing female lead. Brahmanandam is also doing a good role.”

Chota K Naidu handles cinematography, SS Kanchi provides story, Ravinder does art direction, Rama Rajamouli styles the movie and Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao is the editor.

‘Balakrishna’s next ‘Bhishma’

Natasimham Balakrishna is going to act in the direction of ‘Ramesh Varma’ of ‘Ride’ fame. It is known that Ramesh Varma narrated the story to Balakrishna and he impressed with the plot and showed his interest to do the film. Bellamkonda Suresh, who earlier produced the film ‘Chenna Kesava Reddy’ with Balakrishna is going to make this film under Sri Sai Ganesh Productions banner. The title ‘Bhishma’ is under consideration for this flick. The movie will go to sets by the end of this month. The full details of this movie will be revealed soon.

On the other hand, Balakrishna is also getting ready to act in a new film in the direction of Boyapati Sreenu and Paruchuri Kiriti is making the film under United Movies banner. The film will be started in August

Prabhas-Karunakaran’s film launched

Young rebel star Prabhas’ latest film ‘Darling’ in the direction of Karunakaran of 'Toli Prema', and 'Ullasamga Uthsahamga’ fame was launched on 12th June. BVSN Prasad, who earlier made the hit film ‘Chathrapathi’ with Prabhas, is making this movie under Sri Venkateshwara Cine Chitra banner. Hot beauty Kajal Agarwal is the heroine in this film. GV Prakash is scoring the music, Andrews is handling the camera and Peter Hynes composing stunt sequences.

Alagar Swamy, father of Karunakaran tapped the clapboard and hero Prabhas directed the first shot.

Speaking on this occasion director Karunakaran said: “This is a different type of love story and several scenes in the flick will resemble the real incidents in our lives. Tamil actor Prabhu is playing a key role in this film. The regular shooting of the film will start in July and the movie will be completed in a single schedule
